Cybersecurity Incident

Harbour Plaza Hotel Management Limited recently suffered a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorised access to some of its hotels’ accommodation reservation databases. Upon learning of the incident, we immediately engaged a team of third-party forensic experts to actively investigate and contain the incident. Additional measures have also been implemented to further secure our systems.

 

We have identified individuals whose personal information was involved and we are in the process of notifying them. Affected individuals will receive an email from notify@harbourplazanotify.com, a letter by post or an SMS which contains details of the situation and the information involved.

 

The incident has been reported to the Hong Kong Police and other relevant authorities. As a precautionary measure, we recommend that our guests to always be vigilant against phishing or other attempted scams and alert to any suspicious activity. We also recommend that our guests monitor their payment card statements for any unauthorised activity.
